Built in the Interwar period in the Functionalist/Moderne style

Notable features

One of the most distinctive buildings in Melbourne, the Beehive building features steel-framed bay windows which reach out to the horizontal banded spandrels. The beehive on the parapet the building was named for has since been removed.
