Built in the Interwar period in the Art-Deco style
The ACA building features typical Art-Deco vertical fins terminating in stepped forms, horizontal spandrels counterbalance the extreme upward emphasis. A central tower with faience terracotta provides the ACA building with moderne ornament. The ACA features striated pilasters rising through three floors to chevron capitals and finned buttresses that curve to a slight setback. Additional fins leap over and lock onto the parapet of the late thirties skyscraper.
