Completed for Melbournes first International Exposition in 1880, the Royal Exhibition Building Melbourne features a magnificent dome (complete with discrete gilded cupola), modelled on the Florence Cathedral. The Exhibition building is an eclectic architectural composition which includes Second Empire features and giant arched entryways.
