Built in the Victorian period in the Classical style

Notable features

The first stage comprised the bluestone hall with raked floor and seating arranged in a semi-circle around the Ministers desk. This stage was constructed in 1859. The facade was added in 1863. The two towers were never carried out to their full height and the portico space was filled in at a later date.
