Notable featuresIt was the second example of American C A P Turners flat plate system of reinforced concrete construction to be built and was begun in the same year as Turners Lindeke Warner Building in Minnesota. The building was designed by H R Crawford CE Who held the Australian rights to the Turner system. The structure is of seven storeys, the top two being an addition. Facades are decorated with foliated capitals and arches at the top floor level of the original building, but otherwise the walls are not decorated. HistoryArchitect: H R Crawford
