An elaborate composition in a wedged shape eccentuating the unusual site of the junction and focussing on the corner tower which originates in an oriel and terminates in an eclectic Italianate / Mannerist spire with the elegance of Second Empire France. Meticulously detailed, a trademark expression of the Melbourne Boom Style.

Demolished along with over 150 buildings in the region of the St Kilda Junction to make way for new underpass and bypass road construction.
