Built in the Georgian period in the Colonial Georgian/Regency style

Notable features

A 2 storeyed 14 room Italianate style mansion of bluestone. The building features classical pediment motif for gables. Oft compared with Bishopscourt of East Melbourne, it lacks a tower, but nonetheless is an impressive example of the styles of the period. Designed by Knight and Kerr, a rare example of the work of architects made famous for the design for the Victorian Houses of Parliament.
