Notable features

The Agriculure Department building is a classical renaissance revival building in sympathy with other buildings on the Treasury Reserve. The building is in the Rundbogenstil style and a neo-Palladian effect featuring twin palazzo (in conjunction with the extension of 1907). The interior was remodelled in 1936 and an extension incorporating a theatre designed by Percy Everett was added in 1948 but then demolished in 1998.
