1 Queensberry Street is an elaborately designed post-modern apartment building in a sensitive setting between 19th century gardens and streetscapes. A remodelling of an earlier 1970s building, the tower features a setback design, with discrete terraces and a pyramid roof feature crowning the cooling tower, giving it the look of many Central Park NY residential towers from a distance, appearing at once palazzo and second empire. The tower has a rendering that gives the impression of traditional materials to integrate with the streetscape, whilst looking clean and modern.
