Notable features

Italianate classical hotel with twin square towers, marble columns, ballustrade and urns.


The notorious hotel and nightclub closed a year after the death of cricketer David Hookes in 2004. 

Since 2005, several apartment proposals have been put forward which have advocated for the retention of the facade only have been put forward.

The building is currently only listed on the City of Port Phillip's heritage register.
