I first checked out the "Dictionary of Sydney" not long after it started, but there wasn't much of interest that you couldn't find somewhere else, and I was rather disappointed. I've just revisited it and found it has had quite a lot of work done on it and a lot of information and images have been added. It's well worth a look.
