Between Edwardian's research efforts and Graham's model building skills you're starting to make the rest of us feel inadequate.

Top stuff.

The link below is a category thread for some of the companies stained glass windows. This company was so prolific from the 1870's until 1960's that their windows can practically be found everywhere.

I'm interested in Graham's "Glass Float" model but unfortunately the images are no longer available in this thread.

For Graham: Do you think the Glass Float was specifically for the 8 Hours day processions? Excuse me if I'm completely off track on this but without the images it's hard to follow the conversation.

My specific interest in this is related to the the image of the "Glass Float" or "Glass Cart" I have attached to this post which has been decorated by the "E. L. Yencken" (Edward Lowenstern Yencken) stained glass company of Melbourne. Date range is sometime between 1900-1910 as the float has clues such as the royal crown and E.R which puts the date as the period of King Edward's (E.R) reign between 22nd January 1901 (the Yencken company started c.1900)
until his death on the 6th of May 1910. I'm only guessing that the Brooks. Robinson & Co stained glass company did the same thing?

Hi, I've come across this old letter and am wondering if anybody, has any old pictures of the premises, or any other photos regarding this company.
Any and all correspondence will be greatly appreciated.

2Jun2018 Hi Graham - I have some of those too. In 1911 they charged 48 pounds for 8 Gothic leaded windows with borders & inscriptions in gold. Don't you love their letterhead taking up 3/4 of the A4 page? They did church windows in Merino, Coleraine & Digby in the western district and their 1910 invoice says Eliz St and City Rd, Head Office 70 Bishopsgate St London
