Melbourne Open House 2011 will be held on the 30th and 31st of July.

The website is now live at moh.org.au

We are calling on people who love this great city to volunteer for a few hours on the weekend.

Building list will be released on the website on the 23rd of June.

See you then!

Youve kind of just broken our forum rules but I think we can make an exception. I daresay most active members here are very familiar with MOH. I am at least.

Would like to see a list of buildings open this year, I haven't seen any sign of it yet ...

Cheers !

Sorry if I broke your rules.

A list of buildings will be released on our website moh.org.au on Thursday, 23rd of June.

We have some really exciting buildings this year- some new & some old favourites.

How were the rules broken? Is it because Melbourne Open House was advertising?

The answer is in 2a of the Rules, which has to do with publishing links to other sites within a person's very first post. This rule came into being because of the number of new members who joined only to use the WM forum to promote either some cause or advertise spam for their own purposes, but would otherwise not take part in the forum and would never be heard from again. However, in some instances the rule might be waived, as by Williampitt in this case, if the cause seems appropriate.

We (the volunteer committee and me) have lots and lots of buildings on the agenda this year and a number of new activities and tours. The official launch is tomorrow night and of course the marketing types dont want us spilling the beans early. But we do want you to volunteer and help us out. Will you be a general volunteer or an informed one? Show people your knowledge and love of your city! (See how I worked the official marketing line in! )
